Audrey graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2001 and completed her intern year at the Royal Hobart Hospital and residency year at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She then spent 6 years in the Royal Australian Air Force as a medical officer before commencing anaesthesia training in Melbourne at Monash Health in 2010. Audrey completed fellowships in retrieval medicine with Adult Retrieval Victoria and a general fellowship at the Austin Hospital and completed further sub specialty training in cardiac anaesthesia at the Austin Hospital where she worked as a staff specialist anaesthetist for 5 years.
Audrey returned to Tasmania with her family and joined Hobart Anaesthetic Group in 2021, working in all the private hospitals in a wide variety of specialty areas. Audrey is also a part time staff specialist at the Royal Hobart Hospital and has special interests in cardiac anaesthesia, thoracic anaesthesia and echocardiography.
Outside of work Audrey is a Mum of twin girls and enjoys spending time with family and enjoying the Tasmanian outdoors.
