“The Group’s” Anaesthetists practice as individuals within an associate-ship arrangement, and we currently comprise of 41 Associate and Affiliate specialist qualified Anaesthetists with a diverse range of skills and abilities. These numbers are steadily growing each year in line with the growing needs of our Hobart surgeons and their patients. Our practice is the 2nd largest Anaesthetic practice in Australia.

Our Anaesthetists specialise in all forms of Anaesthetic including: Cardiothoracic, Paediatric, Obstetric, ENT, Neuro, Orthopaedic, Plastic, Vascular, Dental, Eye, Colorectal, Urology, Vascular & General.

The Anaesthetists at THAG attend all hospitals in the Hobart area, providing not only regular services, but also 24-hour, 365 day per year emergency care to over 80 of Hobart’s surgeons.
