Dr Daniel Jolley
Anaesthetist
MBBS (Hon), FANZCA, MMed (Periop), MBA (Innov)
Dr Jolley has been working with the Hobart Anaesthetic Group since 2015, enjoying the wide breadth of practice and care that The Group provides to patients and surgeons across Hobart. He has a special interest in obstetric anaesthesia and values the privilege of supporting women and their families with anaesthesia care during labour and Caesarean sections.
Daniel completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Sydney, later training as a specialist anaesthetist in Darwin and Melbourne, including completing obstetric and paediatric Fellowships at both Melbourne's Royal Women’s Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital.
Before relocating to Hobart he worked as a specialist anaesthetist at the Royal Women’s Hospital, The Northern Hospital and Royal Darwin Hospital. Beyond Australia, Dr Jolley has also worked and trained overseas anaesthetists in Fiji, Mongolia and Myanmar.
When not practicing anaesthesia, he enjoys travel adventures, spending time with his family (often at The Hockey Centre!), mountain biking and trail running – and edging towards his elusive goal of running a sub-20-minute 5 km.
