Anaesthetist

Emily graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2012 and completed the majority of her anaesthetic training in Tasmania, before moving to Melbourne to undertake her final fellowship year at the Austin Hospital, with a focus on major surgery and simulation training.  She returned home to Hobart in 2021. 

Emily enjoys anaesthesia for a broad range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, endoscopy, gynaecology and obstetrics, as well as regional anaesthesia.  She also works as a staff specialist at the Royal Hobart Hospital, where she has a special interest in perioperative medicine. 

Outside of work, Emily enjoys running, pilates, and spending time with her young family.
