Dr Jennifer Fife gained her medical degree from the University of Otago in 2009 and became a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2022. She has also gained postgraduate qualifications in Rural and Provincial Hospital Practice and Palliative Medicine.

Der Fife moved to Hobart with her family in 2022 for a fellowship in Global Outreach in Anaesthesia, and stayed on for the lifestyle and opportunities to explore the state.

Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, mountain biking, rock climbing, and exploring the great outdoors.
