Jessie grew up in Tasmania. She completed her anaesthetic training and initial fellowship at Royal North Shore, a major trauma hospital in Sydney. She went on to complete a second fellowship in paediatric anaesthesia at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. She returned to Hobart in 2022 to take up a position at Royal Hobart Hospital.  She has a broad anaesthetic practice caring for both adults and children in a variety of subspecialities including Neurosurgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedics.

She enjoys teaching and is involved in simulation training as a part of ongoing education and professional development for anaesthetic trainees and anaesthetists.
