Meg graduated from medical school in Hobart in 1994. After working for a year in Tasmania she relocated to Sydney and commenced anaesthetics training at St Vincents and Prince of Wales Hospitals. In 2000 Meg travelled to Dublin and Ireland and continued her training, working there for 3 years extensively in intensive care and anaesthesia before returning to Sydney in 2003.
Meg completed her anaesthetics training at St George Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, specialising in both Obstetric, and Vascular & Liver/renal transplant anaesthesia.
Meg also spent 6 months at Westmead Childrens Hospital working in paediatric anaesthesia.
Meg returned to Tasmania in 2006 to take up a position as a Staff Specialist at Royal Hobart Hospital and joined The Hobart Anaesthetic Group as a Locum Anaesthetist in 2009 for a short period before becoming an Associate. Meg continues to pursue her interest in obstetric, vascular and trauma anaesthesia .
Meg has 3 children and enjoys running and hiking.
