Dr Rob Easther

Anaesthetist

Dr Easther is a specialist anaesthetist that splits his time between Hobart, Tasmania and Wagga Wagga, NSW. Dr Easther completed his medical degree at the University of Tasmania and gained his specialist qualification in the Tasmanian Anaesthesia Training Program. In 2017 he completed a one-year fellowship in obstetric anaesthesia at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada. He has special interests in obstetric, orthopaedic and regional anaesthesia as well as anaesthesia for major surgery. 

Dr Easther is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and works in both public and private practice. He is Supervisor of Training and clinical lead for obstetric and orthopaedic anaesthesia in Wagga Wagga. He is Rotational Supervisor for the Southern NSW Regional Training Scheme and is a member of the ANZCA NSW Regional Committee.

Outside of work Robert enjoys spending time with his son and enjoys a good game of tennis.
