Tom originated from Brisbane where he completed a bachelor of biomedical science and a bachelor of medicine and surgery at the University of Queensland. After doing the majority of his anaesthetic training in Brisbane he moved to Hobart to complete his final year in training and decided to remain here with his family and dogs.

Tom is a general Anaesthetist, who has special interests in regional anaesthesia, obstetrics, bariatric surgery and Anaesthetic education.
