Dr Wendy Falloon

Wendy has been a longstanding member of the Hobart Anaesthetic Group, joining in 1996, and works in all of Hobart’s private hospitals. She is also a Visiting Medical Officer at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Currently, Wendy is the Calvary Hospital Medical Advisory Committee Anaesthetic representative and Chair of the Anaesthetic subcommittee. She regularly works in a voluntary capacity in Africa with the Mercy Ships charity. Wendy works full time and has a particular love for and skill in Paediatric anaesthesia, having gained substantial experience in the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children in Sydney where she spent her fellowship year. She also spent 2 years of her anaesthetic training in the UK.
Wendy is active in continuing professional development and is a careful, safe and caring specialist, and an excellent communicator. Outside of her professional life, she is married with three adult children, enjoys reading and watching Marvel movies, and keeps herself fit by cycling and enjoy Pilates classes.
